Looks like two battles this turn, both against the newest Frax empire in
sectors 310 and 312

The Emergency Committee for the Defense of the People's Front of Hydrax has
generated the following encounter report for general circulation through
the various committees, sub-committees, and sub-sub-committees.
Distribution of this report to our mortal enemies, the Hydraxian People's
Front or the Hydran Royalists is strictly prohibited.

*Sector #274 - Convoy Raid:* A Kzinti convoy passing close to PFH space was
determined to be carrying cargo of a low strategic value. No vessels were

dispatched to determine why the mobile base established in sector #276 is

and Superlative carrying supplies to construct prototypes of a new type of
small craft dubbed [REDACTED] intended to make fighters obsolete

*Sector #299 - Colony Raid*: Prepared to receive a reprisal for our recent
destruction of a FRAX colony, the HPS Tenactity and Champion patrolled

*Sector #300 - Convoy Raid:* The Emergency Committee for the Defense of the
People's Front of Hydrax opted for a defensive deployment pattern this
third of Y178, and as such allocated no vessels to disrupt FRAX shipping. *FRAX

*Sector #301 - Refugee Flight: Encounter Dropped.*

*Sector #302 - Colony Raid: Encounter Droppped.*

*Sector #303 - Colony Raid:* After evaluating the after-action reports from
our last encounter with a Jindarian warship, it has been determined that an
advantage in local weight of fire must be achieved to have any hope of
success. With the significant economic upgrade efforts being made all
across PFH space this third, the dreadnaught Astral Fury and her escorts
were deployed on this border to secure our efforts. A lone Jindarian vessel
has been spotted, but its intent is unknown at the time of this report.

*Sector #305 - The Planet Crusher:* An entire world has been regrettably
consumed by a rampaging extragalactic superweapon. How rude. *Tall Enough

*Sector #306 - Prospecting Raid:* A pair of DWFs were deployed to disrupt a
Tall Enough mining operation in sector #306. The Inexorable and Implacable
report a complete success in depriving our Royalist neighbors of some

*Sector #307 - Diplomatic Immunity:* Unsurprisingly, the Hydran Monarchy is
secretly negotiating with pirates. *Tall Enough Victory.*

*Sector #308 - Dilithium Crystal Asteroid:* The PFH lacked sufficient
vessels to contest a Tall Enough claim to an asteroid rich in precious
Dilithium. *Tall Enough Victory.*

*Sector #309 - Pursuit: Encounter Dropped.*

*On the unknown Frax Border:*

*Sector #310 - Colony Raid:* A new border contact has been established with
a unique Frax variant. HPS Reprisal and Mystic Seer report two cruisers in
close proximity to a colony in sector #310, which is currently one of our
highest producing economic centers. The Emergency Council hopes to open a
dialogue with our newest neighbor, but conflict in this sector seems
unavoidable.* Battle!*

*Sector #311 - Convoy Raid:* In the hopes of avoiding a formal war with the
unknown Frax, no vessels were assigned to raid a convoy passing near our
space. *Frax Victory.*

*Sector #312 - Convoy Raid:* While escorting a convoy, our war destroyer
squadron led by HPS Brilliance reports that a pair of Frax war cruisers and
a war destroyer on a closing course. The Citizen Captain intends to engage
hoping to open the range between the aggressors and the convoy, and buy the
freighters time to escape...* Battle!*
