Deep in the asteroid field (randomly rolled) over Karbani's rock Klingon forces were caught napping at weapon status 1. Fortunately transporters don't need to warm up and 12 boarding parties from the D5 "Better Left Unsaid" hit the ground an impulse after KN+ "Blue" arrived. An eight turn battle wound in and out of the asteroids complete with the Blue dropping heavy weapons units on the defending ground troops, tbomb blocked passages and a scatterpack load of drones demonstrating how not to fly through asteroids. The Blue was driven off after extended disruptor bombardment finally got through an aft shield.

Lessons: 1) Fighting in asteroids is nerve wracking when the other guy has tbombs and you don't want a weak shield. 2) GCLs are really hard to take - they have defense turrets and casualty points and you need to drop a lot of marines fast. 3) Drones suck in asteroids.

# 183 Cargo Tug (D5, F5B, TGA vs D7H, 2 ST2, HN) is planned for Sunday at 10A pacific. Both sides are WS-III

When it finishes that will conclude my battles this turn.
