The Emergency Committe for the Defense of the People's Front of Hydrax has
generated the following encounter report for general circulation through
the various committees, sub-committees, and sub-sub-committees.
Distribution of this report to our mortal enemies, the Hydraxian People's
Front or the Hydran Royalists is strictly prohibited.

*On the Barony's Battling Bastards front:*

*Sector #100 - Listening Post:* HPS Indefatigable retrieved the data from
our listening post without incident. We can now confidently predict the
most popular size of 'cardboard box' with which to pacify the Kzinti people
when we liberate them from their oppressive overlords. *PFH Victory.*

*Sector #101 - Hostile Militia: Encounter Dropped.*

*Sector #102 - Technology Sabotage:* After great and lengthy debate (a
debate so lengthy it resulted in at least one committe member passing out
mid-speech from exhaustion) the PFH elected to deploy the pride of the
fleet, the Astral Fury and her escorts, to disrupt Kzinti research in
sector 102. The fleets initial report indicates a BC and CM operating in
this sector, but that the Citizen Admiral expects no resistance from them. *PFH

*On the Frontier Reprogrammable AI 4X frontier:*

*Sector #115 - Fleet Repair Dock: *The FRD in sector 115 reports it is now
fully operational. *PFH Victory*

*Sector #116 - Colony Raid:* A DW squadron led by HPS Brilliance reports
the presence of a Frax DW squadron operating in defense of the colony in
sector 116. The Citizen Admiral in command indicates he will press the
engagement. *Battle!*

*Sector #117 - Base Defense: Encounter Dropped.*


*On the Just Colonial Commission border:*

*Sector #118 - Convoy Raid:* HPS Pinnacle and Tireless, deployed on convoy
escort duty, reported being shadowed by a Jindarian DW but were unable to
draw it into a decisive engagement. *PFH** Victory*

*Sector #119 - War Memorial: *The people's deployments committee agreed it
would be innappropriate to send vessels to honor a war started by the
monarchy of Hydrax, which we are sworn to overthrow. *Jindarian Victory.*

*Sector #120 - Prospecting Raid:* The last communication received from this
sector was a garbled plea for help, and some nonsense about "the asteroids
are shooting back." A committee will be convened to determine which
committee should be responsible for drafting a reply to these
prospectors. *Jindarian
Victory.*


*On the Tall Enough border:*

*Sector #121 - Hostile Militia: *It is clear that our Hydran neighbors are
royalist sympathizers, or worse... Aligned with the Hydraxian People's
Front! In either case, their decision to destroy a forward base under
construction in sector 122 can leave no question as to our response - to
form a committee to decide how to respond! *Tall Enough Victory.*

*Sector #122 - Artifact Singularity:* The people's deployments committee
reached an uncommon rapid decision, and assigned HPS Tenacity to recover
artifacts from a world soon-to-be consumed by a black hole. The Citizen
Captain in command reports a Hydran destroyer also operating in the area,
and has scrambled fighters should they choose to out stay their welcome. *PFH
Overwhelming force.*

*Sector #123 - Fleet Repair Dock: *The people's deployments committee could
not reach a consensus on an appropriate force for this sector. It was
therefore decided we would confuse our foe by sending... Nothing. *Tall
Enough Victory.*
