Dramatic SFB: Fed 69th Battle Report

Diplomatic Immunity 3783

The curiosity French-Speaking Klingons molested a purely innocent Diplomatic Escort deep within Federation Territory.  

The 2 escorting Police ships launched scatterpacks.  As the Klingon ship dropped shields to beam  t-bomb to defend against the drones, our valiant Police ships scored some lucky damage via long-range Phaser fire.

The Klingon ship then intercepted the formation and damaged one of the police ships.  Falling out of formation to engage the enemy, it went down in flames while scoring some shield damage.

On the 2nd turn, the Klingon damaged the other escort; which fell back to engage the enemy,  Although taking damage, it was able to maneuver into position to fire a photon thru the Klingon’s weakened rear shield before succumbing to a scatter pack.

The brave efforts of the Federation Police allowed the Orion ship to safety escape the area.

As a side note; this was my first victory in a campaign that wasn’t auto-resolved.  Yay, me!!!



Refit Raid 3785

Deciding to extract a little revenge, we sent our Battlecruiser to disrupt the Klingon construction schedule.

The Klingon MCF launched a ton of shuttles, which were followed by drones.  Most of the shuttles were destroyed or crippled by fire from the ship and our own shuttles.  Our cruiser took a few inconsequential hits on the forward shield from the shuttles and a drone.

On turn 2, we got into position to fire some Pseudo Plasma and were just about to fire our photons when we were surprised by 2 heavy drone impacts on the #1 shield.  Seems the captain didn’t notice them in the clutter of the outgoing weapons fire and also he was looking something up in the Star Fleet Operations Manual.  So, although we had tractor beams ready; the drones were allowed to cause moderate damage to the ship.  The ship immediately turned about and left the area to avoid being crippled.

The captain was reassigned. 



All other scenarios have been resolved and we are RTA
