Dramatic SFB: T2 Battle Report

To the delegate at The Late War Campaign, the Empire of the Rising Swamp is stealing the report format of the Mighty Kronos Empire, and here is the border disposition report from the Empire of the Rising Swamp:


On the Rome Eternal Border:


Sector #3103 – Convoy Raid: The BC Hedorah was on patrol when the captain identified a Romulan convoy that had not paid their tariffs. Under order from the Acting Director for Economic Prosperity, who was also the Acting Director for Civil Defense, as well as the Acting Director for Gorn Health and Welfare, Captain Dewey ordered the convoy to halt and be boarded for tariff collection.  (Chuck, let me know if/when you want to resolve this one.)

Sector #3104 – Planetary Bombardment: Mr. Gorntastic had heard that there was a Class M planet that was just begging to be bombarded. But, with the recent tanking of the Gorn NASDAC (which in no way was the fault of Mr. Gorntastic), the Empire just didn’t have the funds to pulverize a planet that was so desperately asking for it.

Sector #3105 – Passing the Baton: The DDL Diplodocus was dispatched on a distress call to help a derelict TUG get back to base. Fortunately the Romulans were unaware of the distressed tug and the Diplodocus was able to recover it and tow it home.



On the 69th Border Squadron Border:


Sector #3110 – Colony Raid: The DDL Datousaurus and its fleet had been dispatched to the Signa 3 colony to help with the construction of a Border Wall between the Empire of the Rising Swamp and the 69th Border Squadron. As luck would have it, they were on hand when an unwelcome Fed NCA showed up trying to illegally cross the border. The 6902 Florida was offered the option to either return to the empire it had come from (after signing an affidavit in Gorn that they accepted the fact that they were begin deported and ceded all rights that would normally be afforded them), or they could be taken into custody without food, water, or medical attention. They decided to take their chances on a return trip to their home empire.

Sector #3111 – Probe Recovery: Mr. Gornatstic continued to deny, today, that the information that the 69th Border Squadron found in a derelict probe about illegal payments to a porn star were totally false despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. So far, his supporters continue to believe him.

Sector #3112 – Listening Post: Since Mr. Gorntastic doesn’t listen to anybody, he felt that this scenario was pointless…



On the GodKing Border:


Sector #3126 – Base Defense: In response to reports that an immigrant caravan was going to invade the Empire of the Rising Swamp, DDF Mewtwo was dispatched to the GodKing border to deal with the ‘invasion’. They crew continues to be diligent and watchful despite the absence of any caravan appearing.

Sector #3127 – The Morey Eel of Space: With the rapid elimination of any and all nature protection laws by Mr. Gorntastic, the DDF Arceus and its crew quickly arrived on scene to do some ‘big game’ hunting when it was reported that a giant Morey Eel was in the area. Since there was no participation from the GodKing empire, the DDF Arceus crew was able to take credit for the trophy all by themselves. They also received extra points because many empires still considered the Morey Eel to be an ‘endangered species’.

Sector #3128 – Base Defense: In response to the same report of an illegal Fed immigrant caravan, the SCF Spoink was dispatched to this base in order to monitor for its arrival. They are still waiting…
