We advanced from the early-portion of the turn, where orders go in, to 
the later part of the turn, where battles are fought. The fact you noted 
all of your battles are resolved suggests that things have indeed 
advanced for you, and your captains get easy choices about how much 
shooting and dying they get to do. Isn't it nice when you don't have to 
make hard choices?
