A very-modern Romulan group of a Skyhawk, SparrowHawk, and a Skyhawk <br clear="none">
scout hunted down an ISC convoy, guarded by an escort carrier group and <br clear="none">
a scout. The Romulans approached at speed and then dropped their <br clear="none">
Centurians. The escort carrier began cycling out her fighters while the <br clear="none">
escort destroyer heeled around with her interceptors separating.<br clear="none">
<br clear="none">
Once the plasma from the ISC began flying, the Centurians returned fire <br clear="none">
against the interceptors while the Romulan ships ran forward under <br clear="none">
cloak. A bloody fight ensued between the PFs and INTs, with a helping <br clear="none">
from a few fighters. The Romulan ships went straight for the freighters.<br clear="none">
<br clear="none">
The Skyhawk was flash-cubed by a mine and then was donated every phaser <br clear="none">
the ISC could bear, plus several bolted plasma. The frigate was crippled <br clear="none">
and proceeded to uncloak. She launched her plasma at a single freighter <br clear="none">
from overload range and then proceeded to limp off the map.<br clear="none">
<br clear="none">
With many of the ISC weapons emptied and the resulting power issues that <br clear="none">
entails, the Sparrowhawk uncloaked. The remaining fighters went for her, <br clear="none">
but she was able to pickle off all of her sabots and phasers at <br clear="none">
freighters before the fighters' weapons would hit her. Across a <br clear="none">
turn-break, the Sparrowhawk popped a weasel and cloaked again.<br clear="none">
<br clear="none">
As the ISC are largely emptied of weapons (including the fighters), the <br clear="none">
Romulans manage to get away. The Romulan plasma were too much for the <br clear="none">
freighters, who were running hard to get space between them and the <br clear="none">
aggressors.<br clear="none">

Result: Crippled Skyhawk. Dead freighters.<br clear="none">
