<p>Carnis start T2 at speed 21 with moderate EW 3/1 for the most part.<br /></p>
<p>Pels start at 15 with heavy hiding abilities 6/0 bumping up to speed 19 on imp 16.<br /></p>
<p>Pel CC launches a MRS to which the Carnis launched a DB at her while Pel CW Yoho launches a pair of S torps at R10 to Carni fleet.<br /></p>
<p>Pel fleet tucks in behind planet and gets a BP into each Control Station [ CS ], end of turn control of the 3 CS should belong to Peladine Empire.<br /></p>
<p>The nasty DB was taken care of by a D torp from the MRS coupled with 2 ph 3 shots from the CC at R1.<br /></p>
<p>The 2 real S torps did hit their target, DW Nova Pride but there was a little bit of EW juggling from both sides prior to impact.<br /></p>
<p>Carni CWS lends 5 OEW to CC [ giving a -2 to ECCM after lending help from MRS ] after she took control of the 2 S torps forcing the CC to switch her 6 ECM to 6 ECCM [ she has 6 bttys ! ], end result, the 2 S torps did hit with no proxy roll required. <br /></p>
<p>2 S Torps hit for 22 less phaser damage netting 30 on DW #5 scoring 12 internals after reinforcements, ph 3, 2 warp, DC, rest fluff.<br /></p>
<p>Carni fleet turns to D giving fresh shields to Peladine fleet. Carni fleet about R10 to BH pull radius and Pel fleet on outskirts of BH pull radius as well.<br /></p>
<p>Pel fleet moving 19 while Carnis are at 21 at range of 11.<br /></p>

<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;">I will be retiring from this campaign. There is just no way I can beat the QWTs. I have tried everything and nothing is working. When a race have PPDs on every ship and that those PPDs can fire every turn, it makes for an unbeatable race. In the last scenario I played I was facing 22-40 torps per turn at range 13+ if I accept to loose a ship to dive through it (can't jam those things, ECM is useless against them) at it takes 17 points of phaser damage to remove 1 torp... Then when I get in weapons range I will be facing an other wave of 22+ torps. There is just no way to win against it unless you have overwhelming force, but then the battle won't happen... will it?</p>

<p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;">You can do what you want, it's your campaign, but allowing races like the Pavarians and Frax to be playable, it not really fair. These races are overpowered at equal BPV, I see no reason no to stick to the original races that were very balanced against one an other.</p>
