<p>Folks,<br /></p>
<p>Michael and I got to 3.9 tonight.<br /></p>
<p>On T2.30 saw the Peladine fleet fire a wad of ph2s at Carnivon DW Hunters Wrath taking out shield #5 and scoring 2 more internals [btty, warp as all fluff is gone now], no return fire from the Hunters.<br /></p>
<p>Start of T3 sees the Carnivons kick it up several notches up to speed 28 for CW Nova Pride and DW Hunters Scorn with ECCM of 3 to boot !<br /></p>
<p>DW Hunters Wrath managed speed 21 and trying to hide with 3 ECM working as there are 2 drones targeted on her.<br /></p>
<p>Peladine fleet starts at 12 with hurting DD at speed 11.<br /></p>
<p>DW Hunters Wrath continues moving along map edge trying to stay ahead of the 2 drones chasing her, phaser fire got 4 damage on a drone but the drone survived ! <br /></p>
<p>Carnis started using their Heel Nippers as a ph G at the drones, got 2 of them.<br /></p>
<p>A wad of phasers at R1 were also fired on the plasmas which were targeted on DW Hunters Scorn and she promptly moved into them to take a total of 11 damage on #6.<br /></p>
<p>Range 4 shot [ bolt F and 4 ph 2s ] from DD Liquid on the same shield scored 11 damage to net 6 internals [ph 3 and rest fluff].<br /></p>
<p>The speedy Carni ships turned south trying to skirt around the Pel main fleet of CC, CL, DW.<br /></p>
<p>Peladine CC Santa Maria tractored DW Pinta to make a fast turn to port [ left side ? ] to try and intercept the speedy Carni ships as the Pel fleet Captain knew DD Liquid was in trouble !<br /></p>
<p>On 3.8, CW Nova Pride fired her wad of Disruptor Cannons along with 2 ph 1s at R5 on DD Liquid at no shift with R6 support shot from DW Hunters Scorn to score 35 damage on a downed shield plus 2 more for chain reaction [ 2 SS were armed and ready ].<br /></p>
<p>Wonders of wonders, DD Liquid survived the blast albeit she is a wreck in space come next turn, no power but no EXCESS hits yet !</p>
<p>Three Death Bolts were also launched in direction B from the 2 Carni ships, target Pel ship yet unknown.<br /></p>
<p>On 3.9 DD Liquid managed to turn to A to present a fresh #5 shield even though the Carni CW and DW are mostly dry of weapons now and heading the other way.<br /></p>
<p>CC Santa Maria did plant 2 TBs in front of CW Nova Pride which will be armed on 3.10.<br /></p>
<p>DW Hunters Scorn also planted a TB next to the Peladine shuttle swarm which is in between the DD Liquid and Carni speedsters.<br /></p>
<p>The Hunters are discovering the ' Peladine Rust Buckets ' are not as rusty as they first appear ! 😄<br /></p>
<p>Great exciting fun !<br /></p>

<p>Michael and I got to 2.28 last night.<br /></p>
<p>Quiet turn for the most part as both sides arm their heavy weapons.<br /></p>
<p>Couple drone launches and a couple of plasma launches by the Pels near 2.25 ish to keep the hunters busy !<br /></p>
<p>4 DB were launched and 3 of the IDd DB were targeted on the hurting Pel DD, a TB placed in their path by DW Pinta made short work of them.<br /></p>
<p>The Hunters fleet [16/21] ended up at top center facing E, moving and slipping along the edge westward as the map is fixed while the Pel fleet [16/14 with CL at 20/14 to catch up ] maintained a steady pace towards F facing to close the gap between the 2 fleets. DD Liquid is 4 hexes behind the main Pel fleet.<br /></p>
<p>Fleets are now 8 hexes apart #6 to #6 in LF arcs.<br /></p>
<p>No phaser shots were taken but that will change soon enough !<br /></p>
<p>Play to continue next Tuesday night at 7pm EST.<br /></p>

<p>I did forget to mention the Pels did transport 10 Crystals [ end of turn ] off the asteroid of the 150 present.<br /></p>
<p>CC has 4, CL has 2, DW has 3 and DD has 1.<br /></p>
<p>That's 10 of the 76 required towards victory !! 😄<br /></p>

<p>Dilithium Crystals 304 T1 is in the books.<br /></p>
<p>Carnivons approach at 20/19/20 to gain 1 extra hex with EW at 0/3 while Pels move at 16/20 with varying defensive EW except the DD Liquid which stayed at 16 for the whole turn. <br /></p>
<p>Peladine fleet gets their ECM drones out to complicate matters even more for the Hunters however on 1.18, the Carnivons fired a wad of weapons at R10 at +0 at the DD Liquid as she could not muster enough ECM to force a shift.<br /></p>
<p>End result netted 23 internals via #6.<br /></p>
<p>Peladine fleet was not taking this lying down, very next imp they returned fire at R10 at +0 also and target of choice was DW Hunters Wrath netting 22 internals via #3. <br /></p>
<p>Overall, an even exchange !<br /></p>
<p>Pels did launch 3 G torps which ran out of gas at R1 to hostile fleet end of turn. Carnivon Fleet Captain does not know if these torps were real or fake but the lone torp that was successfully ID'd was at the CW Nova Pride!<br /></p>
<p>Carnivons did not launch any of their Death Bolts.<br /></p>
<p>Fleets are R9 to each other [ Pel #1 to Carnivon #5] with Pel CL out a bit more due to movement issues.<br /></p>
<p>T2 to happen tonight hopefully !<br /></p>
