I'm at the point of adding refits to ships. I have a spreadsheet that
contains the Master Ship Chart (Annex #3) and other data. In effect, and
for each ship, a person would need to:
A) Examine a ship (I use the SSD) and see what refits apply. Note that
there are general refits that may not be specifically mentioned.
B) For each refit or logical combination of refits, copy/create a line
containing the ship's data.
C) Add the refit nomenclature to the name of the unit, update the BPV,
update the YIS date, add the "R" (this is a refit) to the "Notes"
section, and maybe update some other information field (most commonly,
the amount of drones used for drone speed upgrades)
D) Rinse, repeat.
Example:
The Klingon D6J starts as
Ship Type
S2.1
BPV
Year
In
Srvc
Notes Drone
Speed
Costs Plasma
Sabot
Costs
D6J … 123/98 … 124 … Penal 8 0 …
And becomes
Ship Type
S2.1
BPV
Year
In
Srvc
Notes Drone
Speed
Costs Plasma
Sabot
Costs
D6J … 123/98 … 124 … Penal 8 0 …
D6JB … 127/102 … 165 … Penal, R 8 0 …
D6JBy … 129/104 … 175 … Penal, R 12 0 …
D6JBym … 131/106 … 179 … Penal, R 12 0 …
If a person wanted to help I'd ask what empire and send them a
spreadsheet (Excell format, for compatibility) of that empire's units.
