That's mostly an artifact of nobody wanting to take them on for 
conversion. Once SVC closes the 3rd-Gen SSD project  and declares a 
winner for the ribbon of who did the best, those will likely get removed 
from the system, as he has said that anything not converted will be 
yanked. Don't you love being forced to use the shiny-turd (TM) SSDs?
