Dramatic SFB: Dilithium#448

Scenario competed and I kept Frank's reputation in tact! Luckily we both had some free time tonight as my plans canceled on me.


Turn1: Wayne starts speed 10 and jumps to spd 20 charging me, I launch an ecm drone go spd 15 laucnh two torps 1 fake imp 28. I also transported 2 crystals.


Turn2: I turn away from the mean Lyran, Wayne goes spd 4 weasels off my torps.  We end the turn with Lyran in pouncing mode off my #3.


Turn3: I launched the right side torp which he knows is real and turn away from him. He shoots it down with a few phasers torps hits him for 9 damage. He fires std hitting the #5 at 3.28 and orders his ESG up 3.29. Knowing he's disruptors are done and slip in to him at R5 because my left side torp is about to come on line.


Turn4: Turn 4 starts some excitement, Wayne goes spd 24, shoots a few phasers in to my torp taking 16 points and a few internals. I get an average DAC translation I don't get the ESG and he comes charging at me at spd 24. I'm spd 20 use a shuttle and drone to bring down the esg to 5. He rams me on my weak #5 drone takes 3 points #5 takes 2 points leaving 1 point open and he gets a rear shot with 3 phasers on the #4. Bringing it down as well.  I speed up to 30 half way in the turn to get some distance and I launch a SP shuttle on 4.29 (we started WS1 spent 3 turns loading in 5 drones).


Turn 5: We start around R6ish he fires an overload in to my weak #5 I use batteries to pump my ecm to 2, he rolls a 4 missing due to shift thankfully. Wayne is spd 12 I go spd 21 he continues to move towards me keeping in the flank. I launch my single special drone (outside of the 2 ecm drones I bought) A type 4 with 1X, and 1 Armor. He moves closer and to his shock a sp shuttle(he could have fired upon if he wanted to) launched a few hexes from him.  He fired in to the drone doing 9 damage, calls an ED and turns taking the 12 points on a flank shield. Wayne stops weasels takes the collateral on his #1. Knowing I have a torp coming online turn 6 and turn 7 he decides to disengage. Operating under orders from command I thank the Storm Rider for the entertainment, let him go on his merry way and proceed with collecting the crystals.


It was a fun game, haven't played with frigates in a while. I really enjoyed it. Got hairy for a moment was contemplating running but I squeaked out a victory for the Peladine. GG Wayne, perhaps next time brother.
